From Isaiah 40, 39: "...they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." on one sock and "They shall rise up on wings as eagles." on the other this is a design which is bound to attract attention.

This is a verse which we've wanted to illustrate for a long time and after a few failed attempts, it's finally here.

Meet our Bateleur eagle who asks how our wings have been broken, how we may have broken the wings of others and points us to God for healing.

When Holy Socks began in 2000, it was partly with the idea that the sock designs would be interesting enough for people to ask "What's that on your sock?"  A nice gentle introduction to the Christian faith.  As such we didn't include much text on the socks.

Twenty three years later, I wonder how many people would actually recognise that a text came from the Bible.   If they have seen the film "Chariots of Fire", they might possibly remember it from the passage which Eric Liddell used as the basis for his sermon preached at The Scots Kirk in Paris, while many thought he should have been competing in the Olympic Games.

In sizes 4-7 and 6-11.

These Holy Socks are designed in the UK and made in Turkey using cotton from Better Cotton Initiative.

Depending on design, the fabric content of Holy Socks varies between 72% cotton 27% nylon and 1% elastane/lycra and 75% cotton, 23% nylon, 2% elastane/lycra.
